Monday, Mar 31

  • Library Events - Floyd County

    • Toddler Time: 10-11am. Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and other activities. This story time is designed for Toddlers, but all are welcome!

    • Sensory Friendly Storytime: 4-4:45pm. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes.

  • Form Not Function, Quilt Art Biennial: 10am-7pm, The Cultural Arts Center (201 E. Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150). The Cultural Arts Center is pleased to present the returning Form, Not Function: Quilt Art Biennial exhibition, featuring 20 quilts selected by guest jurors Michelle Amos, Terry Jarrard-Dimond, and Kevin Womack. This exhibition will be on display from January 16th, 2025 through April 12th, 2025. Admission is free for all ages. 

  • Safari Eggventure 2025: 10am-2pm, Louisville Zoo. EGGsplore your Zoo again this spring with an EGGcelent scavenger hunt game that allows you to dive deep into the Zoo while searching for hidden zoo-themed eggs, answering trivia questions and competing in some EGGstra special challenges. Free with membership or zoo admission.

  • Trivia at Gravely: 7-10pm, Gravely Brewing Co. 514 Baxter Ave, Louisville. Every Monday! Prizes are awarded to the three teams with the highest scores (1st, 2nd and 3rd).

  • Louisville Taco Week: March 31-April 6. We're bringing you $2.50 Tacos from some of Louisville's most popular taco joints. Each participating Louisville Taco Week restaurant will be offering their own unique tacos. Let the official Taco Week app take you on a Louisville exploration; map out your week, try new restaurants, challenge your taste buds, and share your experiences on social with other Louisville taco lovers. Minimum of 3 tacos per order.

Tuesday, Apr 1

  • Library Events - Floyd County

    • Babies and Books: 10am-10:30am. Join us on Tuesday mornings as we sing, read board books, and have fun learning early literacy! Registration not required.

    • It’s a Small World Storytime: 11am-12pm. You're invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all. Registration not required.

    • Pajama Time Stories: 6pm-6:45pm. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. Registration not required.

  • Library Events - Jeffersonville Branch

    • Basic Sewing: 10am-12pm. So you want to learn to sew! A great opportunity awaits at your Library. Whether or not you've operated a sewing machine, or if you've attempted simple sewing projects and weren't satisfied with the results, you're invited to attend our class to learn basic sewing skills.

  • Silent Disco Kids Cruise: 1pm, Belle of Louisville Riverboats. Calling all silent disco fans! Whether you’ve experienced the fun before or if you’re new to the silent disco trend, we say just add add water for the ultimate family event. This event features all the fun of a classic river cruise, but with the added bonus of getting to pick your own kid-friendly music from one of several pre-selected channels. Book your Kids Silent Disco Cruise today! Tickets required.

  • ½ Priced Bottle Tuesdays: 3-10pm, Wine Shop (New Albany). Every Tuesday ½ priced bottles of wine in house. Bring a friend (or two!) and come enjoy the Wine Shop.

  • Pizza & Chill at Wine Shop: 5-9pm, Wine Shop (New Albany). Unwind with us every Tuesday from 5:00pm-9:00pm for our Pizza & Chill Special! Enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious flatbread pizza for just $20 . Plus, take advantage of our 1/2 off bottles of wine in-house to keep the good vibes flowing.

  • Kids Eat Free Tuesday: 4-10pm, RecBar 812 (New Albany). Every Tuesday, for every adult meal purchased, one child under the age of 12 can order a meal from the kid’s menu for free.

Wednesday, Apr 2

  • Library Events - Floyd County

    • Wiggle Wednesday Storytime: 10-10:45am. Join us at Galena on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. to wiggle our wiggles out, read stories and sing songs! Registration not required.

    • Kid's Club: 4:30-5:30pm. Come hang out and enjoy a different activity each week. Activities will range from play doh to crafts to LEGOs! For Kids ages 6-11 years old. No registration required. 

  • Geology of the Falls of the Ohio: 2-4pm, Falls of the Ohio State Park. An overview of the geology and paleontology, research results and outstanding specimens and some of their fascinating stories presented by interpretive naturalist and park paleontologist, Alan Goldstein, retiring later this year. Meets in the classroom.

  • Recbar 812 Bingo: 7pm, RecBar 812 (New Albany). Free to play. Free to win! Come join us every Wednesday for Bar Bingo. Prizes for every round. One final coverall round every week for a rolling $50 jackpot. If no one wins, the $50 moves on to the next week! $2 off all adult slushies! This is a 21+ event to participate.

  • Library Events - Floyd County

    • Music and Movement: 10-10:45am. Join us at Galena on Thursdays to help your child learn some basic rhythms that will help with early literacy before they begin Kindergarten. Ms. Ashley will use bells, rhythm sticks, scarves and more for these exercises! Registration not required.

    • Laser Engraving 101: 5-6:30pm. Galena Branch. Did you know that you can use our laser engraver to personalize gifts, create branded items, and design unique products? Join us for our Laser Engraving 101 class. Learn how to use the Epilog Laser and take home a mini project! Must be 16 years of age or older. Registration is required.

    • Teen Scene: 6-7:30pm. Hang out with us every Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the Teen Scene! Take a break in the middle of the week with a new activity, game, craft, or anything else we dream up, plus snacks! All teens are welcome (11-18 years old). Registration not required.

  • Singin’ In the Rain: 6pm, Derby Dinner Playhouse. Hollywood of the 1920’s is the setting for this light-hearted and romantic MGM classic filled with show-stopping dance numbers and memorable music. Grab your umbrella, it will rain on stage! Tickets Required.

  • The Lightening Thief: 7:30pm, Clarksville Little Theatre. THE LIGHTNING THIEF: THE PERCY JACKSON MUSICAL is a rock musical adaptation of Rick Riordan's best selling fantasy novel.   • Library Events - Floyd County

    • Morning Stories: 10-11am. Join us for books and songs followed by activities that encourage the development of early literacy skills. For ages 3-6. Registration not required.

    • First Friday Concert: 12-12:45pm. Mrs. Doyle in person. A rousing blend of Irish traditional songs and dance tunes on the fiddle, Irish-style bouzouki, and Irish tenor banjo. All ages are welcome. The First Friday Concert series is sponsored by the Community Music Alliance. Registration is required.

  • Library Events - Jeffersonville Branch

    • Art Boxes: Exploring Boundaries Through Creativity: 10-11:30am. In this 90-minute class, everyone will learn how to create a Boundary Art Box. Art boxes are a visual and hands-on way to explore and express personal boundaries. The outside of the box shows the limits we set to protect ourselves.  The inside of the box represents the values we cherish. Materials that can be used to decorate the outside include paint, collage, or string and the inside can be filled with symbols of what you value and protect, like affirmations or items. Registration is required.

    • Tails and Tales - Read to Pickles the Therapy Dog: 10-11am. Come read to therapy dog, Pickles! She is a 3 year old lab who loves to have stories read to her! This program is intended to help reluctant readers read. Anyone can come read to her. Registration is required.

  • Family Ark Spring Fest: 10am-1pm, Family Ark 101 Noahs Ln, Jeffersonville, IN. Join us for Family Ark's Spring Fest—a family-friendly celebration of the season, filled with fun activities, hands-on crafts, and exciting experiences for all ages! Open to the first 200 kids so make sure to arrive early. Free admission.

  • Afternoon Cruise: 12pm, Belle of Louisville Riverboats. Take it slow under the Southern sun with a delightful cruise along the Ohio River in Louisville. Your whole crew will enjoy the experience. Join us for a fun, informal excursion with free Adventure Passports for the kids. You can opt to enjoy a pre-selected boxed lunch on our Picnic Lunch or just sit back and enjoy the ride!   • Spring Street Fest: 12-10pm, Spring Street Jeffersonville. Get ready -- the folks at The Alcove and Bad Cat Boutique are prepping for round 4 of Spring Street Fest, and it's right around the corner! Come join us on April 5th from 12:00-9:30pm on the 200 Block of Spring Street, to celebrate our amazing community. We'll have food trucks, local art vendors, live music, and more at this FREE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY STREET FAIR.

  • Junior Paleontologist Program: 1-2pm, Falls of the Ohio State Park. We’ve developed a Junior Paleontologist program, similar to what some national parks offer but focusing on our area. This family program is geared for ages 6 – 14.

  • Southern Indiana Roller Derby Training Camp: 10am-1pm, 341 S Capitol Ave, Corydon, IN 47112. Have you ever wanted to learn how to skate and play roller derby? Now is your chance! Southern Indiana Roller Derby's 2025 Training Camp kicks off Sunday, February 23 and runs every Sunday through April 27 at the Harrison County Fairgrounds from 10 AM to 1 PM.

  • Petrified Wood: 3-4pm, Falls of the Ohio State Park. Trees have been around since the Devonian Period, over 380 million years. These fossils are found in different geological periods across the world. Dale Brown will bring in examples of petrified wood (many are very beautiful) as well as some fossil leaves. He will talk about the history of trees with fossils. Free program meets in the rotunda.
