Monday, Apr 14

  • Library Events - Floyd County

    • Toddler Time: 10-11am. Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and other activities. This story time is designed for Toddlers, but all are welcome!

    • Tails and Tales - Read to Pickles the Therapy Dog: 4-5pm, Galena Branch. Come read to therapy dog, Pickles! She is a 5 year old lab who loves to show off tricks, get lots of pets, and have stories read to her! This program is intended to help reluctant readers read. Anyone can come read to her. Registration is required.

    • Sensory Friendly Story time: 4-4:45pm. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes.

  • Safari Eggventure 2025: 10am-2pm, Louisville Zoo. EGGsplore your Zoo again this spring with an EGGcelent scavenger hunt game. Free with membership or zoo admission.

  • Joey McIntyre - Freedom Tour: Phase One: 8pm, Mercury Ballroom Louisville. Tickets required.

Tuesday, Apr 15

  • Library Events - Floyd County

    • Babies and Books: 10am-10:30am. Join us on Tuesday mornings as we sing, read board books, and have fun learning early literacy! Registration not required.

    • It’s a Small World Storytime: 11am-12pm. You're invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all. Registration not required.

    • LEGO Creation Afternoon: 4:30-5:30pm. Come to Galena and build with LEGO on Tuesday, April 15. This will be an open-ended STEM session. So stop by and have fun! Registration is required.

    • Pajama Time Stories: 6pm-6:45pm. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. Registration not required.

  • Library Events - Jeffersonville Branch

    • Mother Goose Time: 10:30-11:15am. A fast-paced and interactive program for children ages 0-2 and their caregivers. Adult participation and interaction ensure the success of this program. Siblings may bring a doll or stuffed animal to bounce. Arrive early to get a spot.

  • Library Events - Harrison County

    • Move & Groove Storytime: 10:30am, Corydon.

  • ½ Priced Bottle Tuesdays: 3-10pm, Wine Shop (New Albany). Every Tuesday ½ priced bottles of wine in house. Bring a friend (or two!) and come enjoy the Wine Shop.

  • Pizza & Chill at Wine Shop: 5-9pm, Wine Shop (New Albany). Unwind with us every Tuesday from 5:00pm-9:00pm for our Pizza & Chill Special! Enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious flatbread pizza for just $20 . Plus, take advantage of our 1/2 off bottles of wine in-house to keep the good vibes flowing.

  • Kids Eat Free Tuesday: 4-10pm, RecBar 812 (New Albany). Every Tuesday, for every adult meal purchased, one child under the age of 12 can order a meal from the kid’s menu for free.

  • Music Bingo: 7pm, Dog Haus Biergarten New Albany. Join us every Tuesday for MUSIC BINGO!

Wednesday, Apr 16

  • Library Events - Floyd County

    • Wiggle Wednesday Storytime: 10-10:45am. Join us at Galena on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. to wiggle our wiggles out, read stories and sing songs! Registration not required.

    • Games Club: 10-11am. Games Club is for adults who love to play games and have fun while socializing.  The library will provide games like Yahtzee, dominoes, various card games, and more! Registration is required.

    • Derby Fascinator Make-n-Take: 1-3pm. Join us for a fascinator making workshop.  Get ready for Derby festivities by creating your own headband fascinator with supplies provided by the Library or bring your own. We will have a variety of colors of netting, ribbon and flowers for participants to use.  Registration is required.

    • Kid's Club - Bubble Blowing with 4H: 4:30-5:30pm. Do you like blowing bubbles? For Kid's Club this week we have a special guest from the 4H Purdue Extension Office that will be teaching us about the science behind bubbles! For ages 6-11.

  • Library Events - Jeffersonville Branch

    • Preschool Prep: 10:30-11:15am. Stories, songs, rhymes, movement activities and crafts which encourage early literacy and kindergarten readiness skills. Ages 2-5 with a caregiver. Siblings are welcome. Space and materials are limited, so arrive early to get a spot. 

    • Bad Art Wednesday: 3:30-4:30pm. A freestyle craft event for tweens and teens. 

  • Library Events - Harrison County

    • Library Little Ones: 10:30am, Corydon.

    • Nature Explorers Scavenger Hunt: 4pm, Corydon. School-age and families welcome.  Hike with Ms. Eden to see the peak of spring wildflower season. Meet at lower parking lot by the lake. Please register or sign up for alerts by texting @HCPLNC to 81010, in case of cancellation.

  • Huber’s Art & Wine - Umbrella Bouquet Paint Class: 6-8pm, Huber’s Winery 19816 Huber Rd, Borden, IN 47106. Enjoy a glass of wine and some great company while you create a beautiful piece of Spring art for your walls. We will all be painting the same piece, but feel free to customize it with your own color scheme. Each ticket includes all the materials and supplies to paint the piece, step-by-step instructions, and the first glass of wine. Call it a girls' night, a date night, a craft night...whatever you call it, we call it FUN! Tickets required.

  • Recbar 812 Bingo: 7pm, RecBar 812 (New Albany). Free to play. Free to win! Come join us every Wednesday for Bar Bingo. Prizes for every round. One final coverall round every week for a rolling $50 jackpot. If no one wins, the $50 moves on to the next week! $2 off all adult slushies! This is a 21+ event to participate.

  • Last Call Trivia: 7pm, Dog Haus Biergarten New Albany. Join us every Wednesday for Last Call Trivia! Games start at 7pm. First Place gets a $30 Dog Haus Gift Card, Second Place gets a $20 Dog Haus Gift Card, and Third Place takes home a $10 Dog Haus Gift Card.

Thursday, Apr 17

  • Library Events - Floyd County

    • Music and Movement: 10-10:45am. Join us at Galena on Thursdays to help your child learn some basic rhythms that will help with early literacy before they begin Kindergarten. Ms. Ashley will use bells, rhythm sticks, scarves and more for these exercises! Registration not required.

    • Kids Coding Club: 4:30-5:30pm. Join us for an introduction to coding and computational thinking. We will be using the non-profit organization, Code.org. There are limited spaces available, registration is required. For ages 7-10.

    • Make & Take - Decoupage Easter Eggs: 5:30-6:45pm, Galena Branch. Join us for a creative evening of crafting and socializing.  This month we will be creating colorful decoupage Easter eggs.  All supplies provided free, no special skills needed. Registration is required.

    • Teen Scene: 6-7:30pm. Hang out with us every Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the Teen Scene! Take a break in the middle of the week with a new activity, game, craft, or anything else we dream up, plus snacks! All teens are welcome (11-18 years old). Registration not required.

  • Library Events - Jeffersonville Branch

    • Beaded Jewelry: 5:30-7pm. Join us on this date at our Jeffersonville location for a Beaded Jewelry Class with Kelly Avery-Boyd! During this 90-minute class, she will share her knowledge and artistic talent with us.

    • Founding Era Book Club: 6-7pm. The club is for adults who are interested in the period from approximately 1750-1850.

  • Library Events - Harrison County

    • Library Little Ones: 10:30am, Corydon.

    • Ukrainian Easter Egg Decorating: 4pm, Corydon. Decorate a Ukrainian-style pysanka egg for Easter.

  • Butchertown Brewing Tap Takeover at Pearl Street Taphouse: 5-8pm, Pearl Street Taphouse. Join us as we welcome Butchertown Brewing for a tap takeover event at Pearl Street Taphouse. We'll have several of their beers on hand for you to sample, come meet the brewer, and other fun things too! We'll also be holding a drawing for a free pair of Rollin' on the River tickets as well*.

  • Silent Book Club: 6-8pm, Wine Shop (New Albany). Having a “silent” book club allows everyone flexibility to come and go as they please each week while getting to see both new and familiar faces. This means everyone gets to bring their current read and read at their own pace. We will be pouring some fun wines and sharing some yummy snacks! Feel free to bring whatever you need to be comfortable!

  • Singin’ In the Rain: 6pm, Derby Dinner Playhouse. Hollywood of the 1920’s is the setting for this light-hearted and romantic MGM classic filled with show-stopping dance numbers and memorable music. Grab your umbrella, it will rain on stage! Tickets Required.

  • Feud Thursdays: 7pm, Dog Haus Biergarten New Albany. Join us every Thursday at 7:00pm for Last Call Feud Night! First Place gets a $30 Dog Haus Gift Card, Second Place gets a $20 Dog Haus Gift Card, and Third Place takes home a $10 Dog Haus Gift Card.

  • Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas - Pres. by WFPK: 7:30pm, The Louisville Palace. Tickets required.

  • Line Dance Lessons: 6-8pm, American Legion Post 204 (Sellersburg). All ages welcome! $5 per person (or come watch for free). Beginner level dance lessons.

  • Corey Brumback Live on the Stage: 7pm, Dog Haus Biergarten New Albany. Free event.

  • Friday Night Karaoke at Forest Music Hall: 8-11:45pm, The Enchanted Forest & Music Hall. Every Friday Forest Music Hall turns into the Ultimate Karaoke Bar. 21+.

  • Anchors Away Fridays: 8-10pm, Belle of Louisville Riverboats. Leave your stress behind on the shore! Grab a cocktail, sit back and relax to a DJ spinning tunes with a Yacht Rock theme. With a chill 1980’s vibe, this cruise and onboard entertainment is the perfect place to unwind! Anchors Away Fridays cruises are two hours. Tickets required.

Saturday, Apr 19

  • Library Events - Jeffersonville Branch

    • Grandparent and Grandchild Hiking Club: 10am-12pm. Families, especially grandparents and their grandchildren, are cordially invited to the first meeting of the Jeffersonville Township Public Library Grandparent and Grandchild Hiking Club.

    • Three Little Pigs STEM: 2-3pm. Come and read a literary classic for this STEM activity and prove you can build the best little pig house to make sure the Big Bad Wolf can't blow your houses away! The program portion will be more comfortable for K-2. 

  • Monarchs and Mimosas: 8:30-10am, Louisville Zoo. Start your day with a refreshing cocktail as you learn how to create your own pollinator garden from our experts. This special 21+ class includes guidance on the types of plants that are most beneficial to attracting pollinators, how to identify the best location and type of garden for your space, and how to manage your plants to provide the best habitat year-round. Guests will be able to enjoy mimosas and pastries during the class and then take home their very own milkweed plant. Wrap your morning up with a visit to our spring plant sale and purchase some additional blooms, provided by Ironweed Native Plant Nursery, to start your own home habitat. This is a 21-and-over event. No children will be admitted.

  • Bunny Bash Easter Dash: 9am-2pm, Family Activities Park, 1000 Park Street, Charlestown, IN 47111. Bring your own basket/bag for a fun-filled Easter Egg hunt for ages 12-under, held at the Family Activities Park on Saturday, April 19, 2025. A Special Needs Hunt kicks off the event at 10 a.m. The four age division Egg Hunts takes place starting at 11 a.m. with the 0-2 Year-Olds, followed by the older divisions. The Park will open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Egg hunters must pre-register.

  • Adult Bourbon Easter Egg Hunt: 10am-1pm. Starlight Distillery, 19816 Huber Rd, Borden, IN 47106. Join us for this popular (and FREE) adults-only event! Guests will hunt for eggs Farm-wide, participate in games, win prizes, and more! Enjoy Brunch after the Hunt in our Starlight Cafe, then stay for a cocktail and some live music from Carl Stuck. Register yourself and up to three friends below, and we will see you there! Limited to 200 registrants. Rain or shine - free event - 21+ only.

  • Egg-stravaganza: 10am-2pm. Fields at Gateway Park. The Egg-Stravaganza, organized by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department, is an enchanting, family-friendly event that celebrates the spirit of Easter and the joys of spring. This egg-citing celebration brings together the community to partake in a vibrant showcase of fun-filled activities and interactive games.

  • Whimsical Cookie Grand Opening: 10am-2pm. 37 Bank Street Suite 11, New Albany. Easter bunny pics, egg hunt with prizes. Easter cookie sale and more.

  • Afternoon Cruise: 12-2pm, Belle of Louisville Riverboats. Take it slow under the Southern sun with a delightful cruise along the Ohio River in Louisville. Your whole crew will enjoy the experience. Join us for a fun, informal excursion with free Adventure Passports for the kids. You can opt to enjoy a pre-selected boxed lunch on our Picnic Lunch or just sit back and enjoy the ride! Tickets required.

  • Earth Day Festival: 12-4pm, 701 Michigan Ave, Jeffersonville. There will be music, food and drinks, activities for kids, information stations, used paint collection, planter exchange, free tree saplings and more.

  • Spring Street Fest: 12-9:30pm, 248 Spring St, Jeffersonville, IN 47130. Get ready -- the folks at The Alcove and Bad Cat Boutique are prepping for round 4 of Spring Street Fest, and it's right around the corner! Come join us on April 19th from 12:00-9:30pm on the 200 Block of Spring Street, to celebrate our amazing community. We'll have food trucks, local art vendors, live music, and more at this FREE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY STREET FAIR.

  • Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger Program: 1-2pm, Falls of the Ohio State Park. As an official stop on the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail, we offer the National Park’s Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger program. It comes with a J. R. activity booklet, and participants (geared for age 7 to 13) will get a Junior Ranger pin after filling the activity booklet out.  Cost $2.00 per participant covered by a grant by the Falls of the Ohio Foundation.

  • Moonlight Cruise: 8-10pm, Belle of Louisville Riverboats. There are few things as beautiful as Louisville in the moonlight aboard the Mary M. Miller. Enjoy yourself out on the river with a gentle breeze and a delicious cocktail and leave your troubles behind! Tickets required.

  • It's A 2000s Party: Louisville (event is 18 & older): 9pm, Mercury Ballroom. Tickets required.

Sunday, Apr 20

  • Southern Indiana Roller Derby Training Camp: 10am-1pm, 341 S Capitol Ave, Corydon, IN 47112. Have you ever wanted to learn how to skate and play roller derby? Now is your chance! Southern Indiana Roller Derby's 2025 Training Camp kicks off Sunday, February 23 and runs every Sunday through April 27 at the Harrison County Fairgrounds from 10 AM to 1 PM.

  • Sunday Funday Cruise: 1-3pm, Belle of Louisville Riverboats. Turn your Sunday into #SundayFunDay aboard the historic Belle of Louisville! Cruise away the afternoon as you take in the sights and sounds of the Ohio River. Whether you choose to enjoy a delicious buffet meal option or just sit back and feel the breeze on our outdoor decks, wrap up your weekend your way.
