Monday, Mar 3
Toddler Time: 10-11am. Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and other activities. This storytime is designed for Toddlers, but all are welcome!
Sensory Friendly Storytime: 4-4:45pm. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes.
Tails and Tales - Read to Pickles the Therapy Dog: 4pm - Galena Branch. Come read to therapy dog, Pickles! She is a 4 year old lab who loves to have stories read to her! Anyone can come read to her! Each person who signs up will have a 10 minute time slot to read one on one for up to 6 readers each visit.
Cozy Teen Bookclub: 4:30-5:30pm (Clarksville). Adore the book you just started? HATE what you're having to read for English class? Join Ms. Monica to discuss the books you are currently reading (good or bad)! We'll get cozy with some hot cocoa and chat about our current reads! Teen audience.
Form Not Function, Quilt Art Biennial: 10am-7pm, The Cultural Arts Center (201 E. Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150). The Cultural Arts Center is pleased to present the returning Form, Not Function: Quilt Art Biennial exhibition, featuring 20 quilts selected by guest jurors Michelle Amos, Terry Jarrard-Dimond, and Kevin Womack. This exhibition will be on display from January 16th, 2025 through April 12th, 2025. Admission is free for all ages.
Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage: Men and Women of the Underground Railroad: 10am-7pm, The Cultural Arts Center (201 E. Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150). Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage: Men and Women of the Underground Railroad draws the national phenomenon of the Underground Railroad into sharp focus by revealing the contributions of ordinary people, both free and enslaved, whose courageous acts on both sides of the Ohio River helped overthrow the institution of slavery. For two and a half centuries, slavery was a blight on our nation’s psyche. Through it all, more and more ordinary people acted in the face of human tragedy—and changed America forever.
Tuesday, Mar 4
Babies and Books: 10am-10:30am. Join us on Tuesday mornings as we sing, read board books, and have fun learning early literacy! Registration not required.
It’s a Small World Storytime: 11am-12pm. You're invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all. Registration not required.
Pajama Time Stories: 6pm-6:45pm. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. Registration not required.
Basic Sewing Skills: 5:15pm. So you want to learn to sew! A great opportunity awaits at your Library. Whether or not you've operated a sewing machine, or if you've attempted simple sewing projects and weren't satisfied with the results, you're invited to attend our class to learn basic sewing skills. Tweens, Teens and adults recommended. Registration is required.
Fat Tuesday Party: 11am-10pm, Pearl Street Taphouse. 407 Pearl St., Jeffersonville, IN. You are cordially invited to indulge in Tom's Homemade Jambalaya, Hot Crawfish Dip, Abita Purple Haze on tap, Hurricanes, King Cake SHOTS & Beads will be handed out. This is a party so come in your best Mardi Gras attire.
½ Priced Bottle Tuesdays: 3-10pm, Wine Shop (New Albany). Every Tuesday ½ priced bottles of wine in house. Bring a friend (or two!) and come enjoy the Wine Shop.
Pizza & Chill at Wine Shop: 5-9pm, Wine Shop (New Albany). Unwind with us every Tuesday from 5:00pm-9:00pm for our Pizza & Chill Special! Enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious flatbread pizza for just $20 . Plus, take advantage of our 1/2 off bottles of wine in-house to keep the good vibes flowing.
Kids Eat Free Tuesday: 4-10pm, RecBar 812 (New Albany). Every Tuesday, for every adult meal purchased, one child under the age of 12 can order a meal from the kid’s menu for free.

Wednesday, Mar 5
Wiggle Wednesday Storytime: 10-10:45am. Join us at Galena on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. to wiggle our wiggles out, read stories and sing songs! Registration not required.
Kid's Club: 4:30-5:30pm. Come hang out each Wednesday 4:30pm to 5:30pm and enjoy a different activity each week. Activities will range from play doh to crafts to LEGOs! For Kids ages 6-11 years old. No registration required.
Make-In-Take:Origami Miniature Journal: 6-7:30pm. Join us for a creative evening of crafting and socializing. Utilizing a simple origami fold for the pages and creating a cover with contact paper, we will make an adorable piece to keep or give as a gift. All supplies provided free, no special skills needed. Adult audience. Registration is required.
Library Little Ones: 10:30am, Corydon Branch. Join Ms. Savannah or Ms. Ann for stories and movement. Designed for ages 0-3 and families.
Recbar 812 Bingo: 7pm, RecBar 812 (New Albany). Free to play. Free to win! Come join us every Wednesday for Bar Bingo. Prizes for every round. One final coverall round every week for a rolling $50 jackpot. If no one wins, the $50 moves on to the next week! $2 off all adult slushies! This is a 21+ event to participate.

Thursday, Mar 6
Music and Movement: 10-10:45am. Join us at Galena on Thursdays to help your child learn some basic rhythms that will help with early literacy before they begin Kindergarten. Ms. Ashley will use bells, rhythm sticks, scarves and more for these exercises! Registration not required.
Cricut 101: 5:30-6:30pm. Come into Galena and learn how to use the basics of Cricut! We will be covering the capabilities of Cricut, how to design a Cricut project, and use the Cricut machine and tools! Registration is required.
Teen Scene: 6-7:30pm. Hang out with us every Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the Teen Scene! Take a break in the middle of the week with a new activity, game, craft, or anything else we dream up, plus snacks! All teens are welcome (11-18 years old). Registration not required.
Storytime - St. Patrick’s Day: 10:30-11:15am, Clarksville. Let's chase the snakes out of Ireland!! Join Ms. Monica for a St. Patrick's Day themed storytime. Library kids ages 0-4 and their caretakers are invited for a morning of stories, songs, and a craft all to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!

Silent Book Club: 6-8pm, Wine Shop (New Albany). Having a “silent” book club allows everyone flexibility to come and go as they please each week while getting to see both new and familiar faces. This means everyone gets to bring their current read and read at their own pace. We will be pouring some fun wines and sharing some yummy snacks! Feel free to bring whatever you need to be comfortable!

Let’s Learn to Play Mah-Jongg: 1-3pm, Galena. Join us for a fun three week course as you learn the basics of Mah-Jongg, a tile-based game of skill and chance that originated in China. Several experienced players will be on hand to explain the game and teach the American League version. Tile sets will be provided.
Friends of the Library Book Sale: 10am-1pm. The Friends of the Library, which is a volunteer support group of the Jeffersonville Township Public Library, hosts a Book Sale four times a month. The sales are held on the 2nd & 4th Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Our book sale room is located at the South end of the main library (closest to Court Avenue) on the lower level.

Sun Sciences: Filtered Light: 2-3pm. Each month on the second Saturday our scientists goal will be to discover how the sun and light works using experiments with Miss Leila! She Means Business: Celebrating Women Entrepreneurs in New Albany: 9am-9pm, New Albany. Join New Albany Main Street and the Women Entrepreneurs of Uptown, Midtown and Downtown for a day of celebration and education! Tickets required for certain events.

Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger Program: 1-2pm, Falls of the Ohio State Park. As an official stop on the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail, we offer the National Park’s Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger program. It comes with a J. R. activity booklet, and participants (geared for age 7 to 13) will get a Junior Ranger pin after filling the activity booklet out. Cost $2.00 per participant covered by a grant by the Falls of the Ohio Foundation.

Southern Indiana Roller Derby Training Camp: 10am-1pm, 341 S Capitol Ave, Corydon, IN 47112. Have you ever wanted to learn how to skate and play roller derby? Now is your chance! Southern Indiana Roller Derby's 2025 Training Camp kicks off Sunday, February 23 and runs every Sunday through April 27 at the Harrison County Fairgrounds from 10 AM to 1 PM.

Fossil Collecting in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio: 3-4pm, Falls of the Ohio State Park. Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio are known for their invertebrate fossils that date from 300 to 450 million years ago. Volunteer Dale Brown will bring fossils he has collected and talk about finding fossils, with tips to help budding paleontologists.
