  • Floyd County Library Events

    • Morning Stories: 10:00am - 11:00am, New Albany Branch. Join us for books and songs followed by activities that encourage the development of early literacy skills. For ages 3-6. No registration required.

  • Form, Not Function Quilt Art Biennial: Carnegie Center for Art & History. The Cultural Arts Center is pleased to present the returning Form, Not Function: Quilt Art Biennial exhibition, featuring 20 quilts selected by guest jurors Michelle Amos, Terry Jarrard-Dimond, and Kevin Womack. This exhibition will be on display from January 16th, 2025 through April 12th, 2025. Admission is free for all ages.

  • Wild Winter Days: 10:00am - 5:00pm, Louisville Zoo. Now through Feb. 28, 2025 your Louisville Zoo is teaming up with Kroger for their Wild Winter Days program. Bring a non-perishable or canned food item for discounted admission. 

  • Lettuce presented by 91.9 WFPK: 8:00pm, Mercury Ballroom. Tickets required.

  • Disney Adult Silent Disco: 8:00pm - 11:00pm, 3rd Turn Brewing (10408 Watterson Trail Louisville, KY 40299). Are you a loud and proud Disney Adult?! Then this silent disco's for you! Join us at 3rd Turn J-Town on January 31st as we celebrate all the best songs and singalongs from every era of Disney classics! Registration required.

  • Lips & Sips Galentine’s Event: 10am - 3pm, Board and You Bistro & Wine Bar. Win a fabulous Louis Vuitton handbag at our event! Limited spots available. Full Galentine’s Menu available.

Saturday, Feb 1

  • Floyd County Library Events

    • Lunar New Year Party: 10:00am - 11:00am, Galena Branch. You're invited to join us for our Lunar New Year Party! Bring the whole family for stories, crafts, and activities to celebrate the year of the Snake!

    • Tails and Tales: Read to Pickles the Therapy Dog!: 10:00am - 11:00am, New Albany Branch. Come read to the therapy dog, Pickles! She is a 3 year old lab who loves to have stories read to her! This program is intended to help reluctant readers read.

  • Jeffersonville Township Public Library

    • Beyond Hoosier True Crime: 2:00pm - 3:00pm, Clarksville Library. Beyond Hoosier True Crime examines wild and notorious cases of true crime in the United States. Each month we will take a look at a new case and discuss it in detail. We will explore how our criminal justice system handled the crime and ultimately resolved its outcome. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the discussion with their own thoughts, and even to suggest future cases to be covered. Due to the mature content being discussed, this program is for adult audiences only.

  • Junior Paleontologist Program: 1:00pm - 2:00pm, Falls of the Ohio State Park. We’re developing a Junior Paleontologist program, similar to what some national parks offer but focusing on our area. This family program is geared for the same age as our Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger program – ages 6 – 13. We will be beta testing most of the activities in a booklet under development. Join park paleontologist Alan Goldstein as we have some fun learning about fossils. The $2 program fee is covered by a Falls of the Ohio Foundation grant. Meets in the rotunda.

  • Galentine's Day in the N.A.: 11:00am - 4:00pm, Downtown New Albany. Gather your gals and come shop downtown New Albany businesses! Participating businesses will have various specials and refreshments. Watch the event on Facebook for additional information about participating businesses and specials. No tickets required.

  • Southern Indiana Winter Craft Show: 9:00am - 2:00pm, Speed Fellowship Hall (328 US-31 Sellersburg, IN 47172). Browse through a variety of vendors showcasing their talents in woodworking, crochet, jewelry making, and so much more.

  • Winter Jam 2025: 5:50pm, KFC Yum! Center. Get ready for Skillet, Anne Wilson, KB, Colton Dixon & more for only $15 at the door! No tickets are required.

Sunday, Feb 2

  • Louisville Women's Basketball vs. Notre Dame: 12:00pm, KFC Yum! Center. The Cardinals are back home for three-straight games following the road swing and it begins on with their first of two matchups against Notre Dame. Tickets required.

  • Wild Winter Days: 10:00am - 5:00pm, Louisville Zoo. Now through Feb. 28, 2025 your Louisville Zoo is teaming up with Kroger for their Wild Winter Days program. Bring a non-perishable or canned food item for discounted admission.

  • Butterfly Lifecycles: 3:00 - 4:00pm, Falls of the Ohio State Park.Learn about the life cycle of butterflies and moths with a hands-on activity making a representation from egg to adult. Volunteer Bob Thesier will guide this activity. Meet in the rotunda. The $2 program fee is covered by a Falls of the Ohio Foundation grant.
