Monday, Feb 3
Community Resource Day: 10am-3pm, New Albany Main Library. Join us at the Floyd County Library New Albany Central location to interact with local resource providers! Registration not required.
Toddler Time: 10am-11am, New Albany Main Library. Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and other activities. This storytime is designed for Toddlers, but all are welcome! Registration not required.
Tails and Tales: Read to Pickles the Therapy Dog!: 10am-11am, New Albany Branch. Come read to the therapy dog, Pickles! She is a 4 year old lab who loves to have stories read to her! Anyone can come read to her! Each person who signs up will have a 10 minute time slot to read one on one for up to 6 readers each visit. Registration is required.
Sensory Friendly Storytime: 4pm-4:45pm, New Albany Main Library. Sensory Friendly Storytime is a special storytime for children who may have felt left out or nervous to go to other storytimes. Registration not required.
American Red Cross Blood Drive:

Babies and Books: 10am-10:30am, New Albany Main Library. Join us on Tuesday mornings as we sing, read board books, and have fun learning early literacy! Registration not required. Registration not required.
It’s a Small World Storytime: 11am-12pm, New Albany Main Library. You're invited to join us each week as we learn about themes like kindness, empathy, and family through different stories, songs, and crafts from around the world. This storytime is designed with kids ages 3-6 in mind, but all kids and families are welcome. Join us every Tuesday at 11am to discover if it really is a small world after all. Registration not required.
Sewing 101: 5pm-6:30pm, Galena Branch. Join us at 5:00 for a basic sewing class. You will learn how to thread the needle, change the bobbin and more.
Dusting Off the Classics Book Group-- Doctor Zhivago: 6pm-7pm, New Albany Main Library. Join us for “Dusting Off the Classics” with facilitator Christopher Proctor. This month's selection is Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak. We will be meeting in the auditorium at the lower level of the library, or you may join us virtually. Registration not required.
Pajama Time Stories: 6pm-6:45pm, New Albany Main Library. Join us for a Pajama Party every Tuesday evening at the New Albany Library! Come in your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket and stuffed animal if you like. Registration not required.
Jeffersonville Public Library Events
Basic Sewing Skills: 10am-12pm, Jeffersonville Library. Whether or not you've operated a sewing machine, or if you've attempted simple sewing projects and weren't satisfied with the results, you're invited to attend our class to learn basic sewing skills. You’ll learn how to operate a sewing machine, control stitching a variety of seams, and complete a usable project that will reflect your newly-honed sewing skills. Registration is required.
Love, Lies & The Lottery: 6pm, Derby Dinner Playhouse. Ever wonder what happens when a multi-million dollar lottery prize goes unclaimed? ½ Priced Bottle Tuesdays: 3pm-10pm, Wine Shop (New Albany). Every Tuesday ½ priced bottles of wine in house. Bring a friend (or two!) and come enjoy the Wine Shop.
Kids Eat Free Tuesday: 4pm-10pm, RecBar 812 (New Albany). Every Tuesday, for every adult meal purchased, one child under the age of 12 can order a meal from the kid’s menu for free.

Wednesday, Feb 5
Games Club: 10am-11am, New Albany Main Library. Games Club is for adults who love to play games and have fun while socializing. The library will provide games like Yahtzee, dominoes, various card games and more! Registration is required.
Wiggle Wednesday Storytime 10am-10:45am, Galena Branch. Join us at Galena on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. to wiggle our wiggles out, read stories and sing songs! Registration not required.
Kids Club: 4:30pm-5:30pm, New Albany Main LIbrary. Activities will range from play doh to crafts to LEGOs! For Kids ages 6-11 years old. Registration not required.
Make Your Own Hobby Journal: 5pm-6:30pm, Galena Branch. Come to Galena and create a hobby journal! This program will help you make the tools necessary to keep track of your hobbies, whether it's gardening, sketching, sewing, or something else. All materials will be provided, just bring your creativity! Registration is required.
Harrison County Library Events
Library Little Ones: 10:30am, Corydon Branch. Join Ms. Savannah or Ms. Ann for stories and movement. Designed for ages 0-3 and families.
Recbar 812 Bingo: 7pm, RecBar 812 (New Albany). Free to play. Free to win! Come join us every Wednesday for Bar Bingo. Prizes for every round. One final coverall round every week for a rolling $50 jackpot. If no one wins, the $50 moves on to the next week! $2 off all adult slushies! This is a 21+ event to participate.
Thursday, Feb 6
Music and Movement: 10am-10:45am, Galena Branch. Join us at Galena on Thursdays to help your child learn some basic rhythms that will help with early literacy before they begin Kindergarten. Ms. Ashley will use bells, rhythm sticks, scarves and more for these exercises! Registration not required.
Cricut 101: 5:30pm-6:30pm, Galena Branch. Come into Galena and learn how to use the basics of Cricut! We will be covering the capabilities of Cricut, how to design a Cricut project, and use the Cricut machine and tools! Registration is required.
Teen Scene: 6pm-7:30pm, New Albany Main Library. Hang out with us every Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the Teen Scene! Take a break in the middle of the week with a new activity, game, craft, or anything else we dream up, plus snacks! All teens are welcome (11-18 years old). Registration not required.

Silent Book Club: 6pm-8pm, Wine Shop (New Albany). Having a “silent” book club allows everyone flexibility to come and go as they please each week while getting to see both new and familiar faces. This means everyone gets to bring their current read and read at their own pace. We will be pouring some fun wines and sharing some yummy snacks! Feel free to bring whatever you need to be comfortable!
Line Dance Lessons: 6pm-8pm, American Legion Post 204 (Sellersburg). All ages welcome! $5 per person (or come watch for free). Beginner level dance lessons.
Louisville Women’s Basketball vs. Cal:8pm, KFC Yum! Center (Louisville). The remaining two new conference members are up next starting with Cal on Thursday, February 6. The Cards and Golden Bears will face off at 8 PM. Tickets Required.
Friday, Feb 7
Morning Stories: 10am-11am, New Albany Main Library. Join us for books and songs followed by activities that encourage the development of early literacy skills. For ages 3-6. Registration not required.
First Friday Concert - Pianist Nada: 12pm-1245pm, New Albany Main Library. Returning by popular demand, world-renowned concert pianist Nada joins us again for a spellbinding performance of classical works. All ages are welcome. The First Friday Concert series is sponsored by the Community Music Alliance. Registration is required.
Let’s Learn to Play Mah-Jongg:1pm-3:30pm, Galena Branch.Join us for a fun afternoon as you learn the basics of Mah-Jongg, a tile-based game of skill and chance that originated in China. Several experienced players will be on hand to explain the game and teach the American League version. Tile sets will be provided. Registration is required.
Jeffersonville Public Library Events
Valentine-Themed Rock Painting Class (18+): 10am-11:30am, Jeffersonville Library. Join us for a 90-minute class devoted to Valentine-themed Rock Painting. The instructor for the class will be Autumn Stevens, owner of Masterpiece Art Studio of Southern Indiana. In this 90-minute class, you will learn how to paint hearts and/or other images that evoke Valentine's Day. All supplies will be included without any cost to the participants. Friends of the Library Book Sale:10am-1pm, Jeffersonville Library.The Friends of the Library, which is a volunteer support group of the Jeffersonville Township Public Library, hosts a Book Sale four times a month. The sales are held on the 2nd & 4th Fridays and Saturdays.

Jeffersonville Public Library Events
Friends of the Library Book Sale: 10am-1pm, Jeffersonville Library. The Friends of the Library, which is a volunteer support group of the Jeffersonville Township Public Library, hosts a Book Sale four times a month. The sales are held on the 2nd & 4th Fridays and Saturdays.
Crocheting Class @ Jeffersonville: 12pm-2pm, Jeffersonville Library. Join us if you would like to either learn how to crochet or just fine tune your skills! Joyce Ellis, our instructor, would like for each participant to bring a size H needle along with a solid color skein of yarn with them to the class. This, of course, only applies to those new to the craft of crocheting!
Essential Oils Class - Oils Made Easy: 1pm-2pm, Jeffersonville Library. Using essential oils can be as easy as 1, 2, 3! In this introductory class, you will learn what they are, how to use them, and the top 10 oils for getting started. Included in the class is a $10 Make and Take. Registration is required.
Sun Sciences: How does light travel?: 2pm-3pm, Jeffersonville Library. Each month on the second Saturday our scientists goal will be to discover how the sun and light works using experiments with Miss Leila! Join us young scientists and find out about our sun and the helio sciences! Registration is required.
Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger Program: 1pm-2pm, Falls of the Ohio State Park. As an official stop on the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail, we offer the National Park’s Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger program. It comes with a J. R. activity booklet, and participants (geared for age 7 to 13) will get a Junior Ranger pin after filling the activity booklet out. Cost $2.00 per participant covered by a grant by the Falls of the Ohio Foundation.

Cupid’s Arrows: 3-4pm, Falls of the Ohio State Park. Join volunteer and science educator, Laura Swessel, in an activity where you will make and launch small arrows at a ‘heart’ target. Learn about trajectory and force to shoot your arrows. This is a modified version of a model rocket activity. The $2 program fee is covered by a Falls of the Ohio Foundation grant. Meets in the rotunda.
